Our Story

Who We Are

Artie Kreutzer

Since 1991 I have been blessed to be able to work with so many wonderful people in this industry.  I have been honored to be trusted to help people with Cancer, Parkinson’s, scoliosis, obesity, autism, recovering from accidents, dealing with eating disorders, victims of being bullied, etc.  I have worked with competitive athletes looking to improve their performance, and those looking to find their way to their own fitness goals.

I was set on my path to a career in human movement at the age of 18 months old by a housefire.  It set tremendous obstacles in my way; I had to learn how to walk again and it significantly limited the use of the left side of my body.  I still remember the day I was accepted as a case study at a gymnastics school.  Thanks to a few amazing adults in my life that believed in me I quickly learned how much I need to be challenged.  As my better half, Danaea, would attest, I still refer to those early moments as the ones that molded me.  This is my calling.  I am grateful to be able to provide to the public our time-tested methodologies and constant pursuit of over-delivering results.  I truly look forward to meeting you!

Danaea Castro

My lifetime love of fitness became a drive to share it with others thanks to the inspiration of my husband, Artie.  As a trainer I have been fortunate to work with individuals of all ages, fitness levels, and with a range of personal goals.  Across my life I have gone through many of the usual struggles people experience with self-image, weight, and nutrition.  Raising a daughter has given me perspective on what truly matters to me and what I want her to value in herself and others.  Feeling stronger and more capable at over 40 years old and after having a child is something I wouldn’t have predicted, but I think if we tell ourselves that we are worth the effort, the time, the energy, we can have that and more.  The COVID pandemic tested all that we thought we knew, and drove us to create a new way of helping others, compiling equipment, meeting our clients wherever they felt comfortable and safe, and bringing with us to edge of or clients’ driveways our belief that we are meant to feel good, to move well, and that we all deserve to have someone on our team who wants that for us as much as we do.

Our Vision

We believe that fitness is a journey.  We all come into it at different points and we know that everyone is not going to have the same goal, as our own goals have shifted across the years.  Whether you want to play with your children, give your children an edge in their sport, or take your athleticism to the next level, there is a programming approach for you.  Because we come to you, you don’t need to arrange childcare or block off more time than what it takes to meet us at your door.  We believe in and live what we share with others, so we understand the challenges that life presents us all with finding the time, space, and motivation to make time for ourselves to train.  Nutrition support is offered as well, because our belief is that the most effective approach to nutrition is one that is sustainable and, yes, enjoyable long term.  Finally, if we can remember what is feels like to play, have fun with movement, and see the world around us as something to be conquered or explored, then training isn't a chore but the way we keep adding to the things that we can say we can do, our confidence in what we know we can handle.
